Closure Letter

A Message to our Valued Customers:
As the CEO/President of 25/7 Protection Inc. for the past 13 years, it is with great sadness that we must end our mission which was to help negatively impact criminal’s ability to cause chaos and harm to local homes, families, business owners and their employees throughout our region.
I have enjoyed just about every aspect of the security and protection business, but running a small business 7 days a week for 13 years this business model has taken a tremendous financial and physical toll.
In today’s world with on-line sales and quick wireless DIY systems, (even as inferior as they are) it has made it financially unsustainable for 25/7 Protection and the current business model to continue to offer our specialty designed systems and or services.
The products that we offered all came with their own Manufacturer’s Factory Warranty and their warranty follows their products.
Our website www.257protection.com was recently rebuilt to help with many of the most common IT questions that clients either used to help solve an issue on their own or with one of our techs helping to guide them through it.
For added assistance we have added the latest DVR Manufacture’s Quick Start Guide (one was included with the original purchase of your DVR as well as you can contact IC Realtime for others if needed) to also help with operation your system.
We then took the time to design and attach updated install diagrams to help either install a new system or if for some reason something came loose, you could see how to solve your issue by properly reconnecting the wires.
We are sharing a couple of our subcontractors’ information, who may have performed some aspects of your install or IT Help.
The 2 most recommended Electrical Installation Companies were:
(Proper AVS- Morgan at 206 573-7994) or (Sullivan Electric-Derick at 253 332-6956)
For IT or Technical Set- Up: (Blue Spectrum Technology at 425-224-5784).
These are companies that can continue to bill directly for their services as they were paid directly as sub-contractors, so if you need any ongoing service or assistance in their specialty fields please, feel free to reach out to them or the manufacture directly.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that we are causing by making this very difficult business decision; as we have truly been blessed and honored to have had the opportunity to help Protect You, Your Family and Your Property.

ICDDNS Server Update 7/15/2019

Technical Department | 2019-07-11
UPDATED: 7/15/2019
Engineering has deployed an Amazon AWS instance and configured the server environment in preparation for the new ICDDNS platform.
ICR Firmware team is now in process of developing the DDNS firmware and performing internal test throughout today and tomorrow. We’re eager for a resolution this week if not sooner. Developers and engineering resources remain actively working until a this is sorted.
As always, P2P and direct access remain available. If you have remote sites or multiple outages, our support team can help discuss a restoration solution. Our helpdesk remains open as well for users to create tickets where we can provide updates directly about the status of the DDNS service.

ICRealtime ICDDNS Server Update

Our ICDDNS server will be fully restored shortly.
Technical Department | 2019-07-11
UPDATED: 7/11/2019
IC Realtime engineering team has identified a critical hardware failure in a dedicated server responsible for the majority of ICDDNS. In working with our hosting provider, GoDaddy, we have faced extremely flimsy support from the Data Center team and GoDaddy themselves for a hardware issue resolution. We are trying to hold GoDaddy accountable to fix their failed hardware and it has caused nothing but additional delays. We are trying to work with all customers to use the P2P service, direct connection, or any other available methods to connect in the interim period while services are restored.
Because of the weak support on such a critical service, IC Realtime has already taken steps to migrate this server to Amazon AWS hosting to avoid future issues that impact our customers like this.
We completely apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to provide updates and support for all customers as they develop.

Reward Offered for Woman Shot during Home Invasion

Thanks to donations from friends of the victim, Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is now offering an $8,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the gunman who shot a woman during a home invasion robbery near Pe Ell almost two and a half weeks ago. “They want to generate more tips and certainly the more money generally generates more tips. They also feel extremely sad in this situation. Should have never happened so they want to speed it up. They want to help us get to the bottom of this,” said Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. If you have any information to help Pacific County Sheriff’s detectives identify the suspect, you can remain anonymous.  Use the P3 Tips App on your smart phone to submit the info or call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).Nicole, the vicitm, says she was asleep on July 12 in her home west of Pe Ell when she heard a huge crash around 1:15 a.m.  She jumped out of bed to investigate and came face to face with an armed intruder about  5-foot-11 wearing a hat, goggles or glasses, and a bandana covering the bottom part of his face.

“When I first got to that landing and made eye contact with him and saw that gun at my face and just saw how he was disguised, no one wakes up and expects to see that,” said Nicole. She immediately dropped down and covered her head with both arms. “Started begging for him not to shoot,” said Nicole. Up to that point, the suspect had not uttered a single word. “It was like 30 seconds later, he just shot me and I felt a sharp pain in my arm,” said Nicole. The bullet shattered the bone in multiple places.

Nicole says she offered him cash and asked him to leave her alone, saying she had three kids who needed her. When he asked her to go downstairs, she heard his voice for the first time. He was using a device to disguise it. “It has to be someone I know,” said Nicole. Her friend was staying downstairs and came to check on her when she heard the gunshot. Nicole ordered her back into the bedroom. She says he never paid any attention to her friend and didn’t seem concerned about her. She gave the intruder some money and pleaded with him to leave. “As soon as he turned his head to turn around,” she said, “I like jumped down behind the island and I hid and then I heard him walk through the door cause I heard more glass crack on the outside and he said, ‘Have a good night, hon.'”
